Game Day Smoked Sausage Chili

1 1/2 lbs John Morrell Smoked Sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 c onion, chopped
1 c celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 c beer or water, room temperature
2 tsps chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
salt and pepper (to taste)


10 minutes prep, 3-5 hours slow cooking

Place all ingredients in 4-quart slow cooker; mix gently. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 3-5 hours on low heat until smoked sausage is tender.
